Kent-Moore DT-47800 Shim Selection Tool Kit

J-47800 consists of 2 precision ground gauging tools that allow bearing preloads to be set for the transfer axis and differential axis while the 6T70 transaxle is apart for unit repair. The gauging tools fit inside the transaxle between the case and torque converter housing. Stand-off rods separate the components, and special feeler gauges are inserted into the spring-loaded gauges to determine which thickness of selective thrust washer to use for the correct bearing preload.
