Kent-Moore DT-49131 Pump Cover Seal Staking Tool

For GM / General Motors. DT-49131 consists of 2 components. A Staking Punch and a Staking Guide that has four equally spaced holes set at an exact distance from the bore centerline. The holes are counterbored to control the depth of the stake to a precise dimension. The Guide fits in a circular diameter bore over the seal and the Staking Tool is then struck at each position in the guide to form dimples in the ductile iron housing that retain the seal. The tool is double sided. One side fits the 6T40 transaxle and other side fits the 6T70.
