The resolver is a critical sensor in the Volt 4ET-50 Drive Unit. If it is exposed to transmission fluid and fails, the vehicle propulsion system shuts down. DT-50834 is a micro- finish smooth bore tube with a taper. The Teflon seal is installed by hand and the seal is compressed to size with DT-50834. The drive unit end cover can then be installed without damage to the seal.
